Recovering economy and dialogue, the path of MAS in Bolivia
La Paz, Oct 19 (Prensa Latina) Economic reactivation, the banishment of hatred, and dialogue will mark the new stage for the Movement toward Socialism (MAS), the spokesman for the organization, Sebastian Michel, said on Monday.
MAS Presidential Candidate Luis Arce won the elections with 52.1% of votes, according to an announcement made on Monday by the poll company Ciesmori for the TV channel Unitel.
In statements to La Revista TV program, Michel noted that the popular vote expressed the will for share power in a situation where coordination among the parliamentary forces, regional authorities and opposition powers prevail.
It has to be a new stage characterized by: first, a change in style, people do not want more hatred, we have to look ahead instead of behind, and second, little imposition and a lot of dialogue, he noted.
On behalf of the political movement, he thanked Bolivians for their support, after a year of pain, slanders and persecution, as they demand a path toward reencounter and unity.
'Because only together we will be able to make progress at such a difficult time of crisis, unemployment and instability,' the spokesman concluded.
