Cuba, China analyze cooperation in postal service
23 de octubre de 2020, 15:37Havana, Oct 23 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's and China's representatives analyzed on Friday the opportunity of cooperating in the modernization of postal graphics and the operation of shipments in Cuba.
At the meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Communications (MINCOM), in Havana, the president of Cuba's Post Office, Carlos Asencio, and China's ambassador, Chen Xi, discussed investment projects to be developed by Chinese companies to improve postal shipping processes.
Asencio and Chen Xi also highlighted the need to share experiences and good practices in the field of electronic commerce, and the reconciliation of the exchange between the postal operators of the two countries, MINCON's press release gives further details.
According to the source, the talks took place in the fraternal, transparent and cooperative environment that characterizes the relations between the two nations.
Chen Xi took the occasion to thank the business group for its support for the recent postal cancellation on the 60th anniversary of the beginning of diplomatic relations between Cuba and China.
Correos de Cuba is a higher organization of Business Management, made up of 20 companies, in charge of the universal postal service and other value-added services in Cuba.
