Venezuela accuses US of promoting coups in Latin America
Caracas, Oct 29 (Prensa Latina) The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, accused the United States of promoting coups d'état in Latin America to preserve its imperial interests.
Cabello, who is also a candidate to the National Assembly from the Simon Bolivar Great Patriotic Pole, noted on his regular Con el Mazo Dando program that the only country that is not a victim of that is Colombia, because they assassinate those who run for the presidency.
The Venezuelan politician pointed out that when you review the electoral systems in other countries, you find that the US system is one of the most irrational, 'we could say that half of the population does not vote, because they don't know, in the end, they are voting for some delegates and the president will be the one who has more delegates.'
The socialist leader described the election campaign in the US as a show, and noted that all its strategy in the region is for the dispute of power, 'they continue to include the world in their electoral game, trying to see how one goes up and the other goes down.'
Regarding the political strategies of Donald Trump and Joe Biden to reach the presidency, Cabello said, 'May God protect the world from those human beings who will rule that country'.
In response to the attacks on the National Electoral System, he noted that Venezuela's is one of the fastest, safest and most transparent systems, described as among the best in the world.
