France: Fighting US blockade is considered as indispensable
Paris, Oct 29 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Coopération France (CubaCoop) Association on Thursday considered the fight against US blockade on Cuba as increasingly indispensable, given its negative impact on Cuban people.
On its weekly publication La lettre électronique Hebdo, an organization founded in 1995 in the attempt to promote solidarity and collaboration with Cuba, strongly rejected Washington's recent decision to affect family remittances, with a measure that would lead to close all 407 Western Union offices across Cuba.
'What a cruelty, what a cynicism to pretend it is for the good of local population,' Roger Grévoul, CubaCoop´s founding president, stressed, alluding to Donald Trump's speech that his actions are aimed at 'helping' the Cuban people.
On behalf of CubaCoop, he highlighted the international demand to put an end to inhumane and unjust sanctions.
CubaCoop reiterated that Cuba is not alone and ratified its willingness to promote collaboration.
