Israel violates border demarcation agreement with Lebanon
Beirut, Nov 10 (Prensa Latina) Israel violated agreements on keeping secret the terms of the negotiations to demarcate borders with Lebanon, the Al-Joumhouria newspaper has denounced.
The publication reproduced statements by a Lebanese expert, who went unidentified, on the leaks by the Tel Aviv regime to the media of the minutes of the two rounds held so far.
The third was scheduled for today, but if it meets, it will be marked by alerts that the Israelis are not playing fair.
According to the newspaper that cited the specialist, Beirut adheres to its full sovereignty, with documents that evidence that it has the right to claim 860 square kilometers out at sea being disputed.
However, Israeli propaganda, as the consulted expert called it, would always try to reverse this prerogative to establish an exchange favorable to Tel Aviv.
In any case, the Lebanese delegation is not interested in spreading its arguments, which could lead to the adoption of other rules to demarcate borders or avoid maps.
The area under discussion, belonging to block four within the exclusive Lebanese zone claimed by Israel, has gas and oil reserves.
