Miguel Diaz-Canel rejects accusations of interference in US elections
21 de noviembre de 2020, 11:7Havana, Nov 21 (Prensa Latina) President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Saturday rejected accusations of Cuba's alleged interference in the recent presidential elections in the United States.
In a message on his Twitter account, the president noted that Cuba does not interfere in electoral processes in other nations.
'We have undergone US interference and harassment during the years of the Revolution; however, our foreign policy is based on ethical principles that reject interference in the internal affairs of other States,' the president added.
Diaz-Canel's statements responded to accusations by Donald Trump's campaign team about the alleged participation of the governments of China, Venezuela and Cuba to interfere in the latest presidential elections and benefit Democratic Candidate Joe Biden.
