United Nations confirms nuclear cooperation with Iran
Tehran, Nov 22 (Prensa Latina) The International Atomic Energy Organization (IAEA) confirmed in a report that there is full cooperation with Iran.
Inspectors from the UN body have access to all Iranian nuclear facilities, the document says.
The 40-page report ratifies Iran's verification of the safeguards of the Non-Proliferation Treaty to prevent the manufacture of nuclear weapons.
According to the Iranian press, despite this confirmation, IAEA director Rafael Grossi, under pressure from the West, called last week for greater transparency in the Iranian peaceful nuclear program.
The director of the UN body pointed out that the presence of uranium particles in an undeclared place requires a complete and rapid clarification by the country's authorities.
During the intervention, Grossi reported on Iran's introduction of uranium gas into more advanced centrifuges at its underground enrichment plant at Natanz.
