PLO leader calls for measures against Israel for racist policies
Ramallah, Nov 28 (Prensa Latina) PLO leader Ahmad Majdalani called today on the international community to take measures against the Israeli government for its projects of Jewish settlements in the West Bank and the racist policy against Palestinians.
The world should go from condemning and rejecting the illegal settlements in our land to adopting serious measures so that Israel understands there is a price to pay for its discriminatory practices, the member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) insisted, cited by Wafa news agency.
Majdalani underscored that his people continue the historic claims such as the implementation of the two-state solution, supported by the United Nations (UN), to end the long conflict with Tel Aviv.
The Al Fatah movement organized a campaign on social media to celebrate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People tomorrow, Wafa reported.
The idea- he stressed- is to spread messages of support to the men and women in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on Twitter, and conduct workshops on the cause they champion in different cities of the world.
The General Union of Palestinian Communities in Europe called to hoist the national flag on vehicles and home windows.
