US forces steal grain from Syria, move it to Iraq
Damascus, Jan 11 (Prensa Latina) US forces are stealing loads of gran from northeastern Syria and move them to northern Iraq, local activists quoted by SANA news agency reported.
A convoy of 50 vehicles loaded with barley and wheat left Remelan, in northeastern Al-Hasakah province, and entered Iraq through the illegal Al-Waleed border crossing, usually used by the US occupation forces, locals denounced.
They informed that the US occupying troops and its separatist Syrian Democratic Forces (FDS) militia keep farmers from delivering their cereals to Syrian State purchasing centers and buy them at low prices.
According to local media, Washington is stealing Syrian crops and is occupying oil wells in order to prolong the bread and oil crisis to put more pressure on the Syrian government and people.
Damascus described the occupation of its oil wells and the looting of its crops as economic terrorism and a crime against humanity, and ratified that Washington will not achieve with its economic war what it failed to achieve militarily and politically.
