12 de enero de 2021, 15:26La Paz, Jan 12 (Prensa Latina) Bolivia starts on Tuesday the final stretch of the Bonus against Hunger by paying the last eligible segment, composed of youngsters from 18 to 29 years old.
That bonus of 1,000 bolivianos (about 145 dollars), provided by the government, contributes to mitigate the aftermaths of the Covid-19 pandemic and to cover some economic expenses in the current context.
On December 1, the payment of that benefit began for people from 50 to 59 years old, then for those from 40 to 49 and then for those from 30 to 39.
From January 27 to March 1, Banco Union will attend to the needs of the underprivileged of all age groups, as announced in an institutional press release.
Other financial entities are also authorized to make such payment, and the UNImovil Plus application is available on the network so that those who meet the requirements can get paid by taking advantage of the technology facilities.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, so far over two million people have already been paid (more than 1,842,000 at the counter and almost 366,000 with UNImovil Plus).
