La Paz, Jan 13 (Prensa Latina) The former president of Bolivia Evo Morales tested positive for Covid-19 and was admitted to a clinic in the city of Cochabamba, where he is recovering from moderate pneumonia, according to reports of local media. Morales was admitted to the Los Olivos health institution on Monday suffering from shortness of breath and, once the tests were carried out to assess his condition, he was immediately isolated in a room, the Los Tiempos newspaper revealed.
A statement released by the newspaper specified that the leader is stable and receiving the necessary medical treatment.
Likewise, the Opinion newspaper reported that his lungs are damaged.
The former president tweeted thanking 'the responsible journalists and serious media who called concerned about my state of health.'
