Mexico's defense secretary, General Luis Crescencio Sandoval, who is responsible for distributing the vaccines, said that 94% of Pfizer's Covid-19 doses received in the country until Tuesday are in 828 hospitals nationwide. The remainders will be distributed on Wednesday if weather conditions allow it.
Lopez Obrador insisted on prioritizing 15 million senior citizens, and noted that the brigades that are going to conduct this task are already prepared. More than 400,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine, plus others from different laboratories, continue arriving weekly, the president said.
