Beirut, Jan 13 (Prensa Latina) The Lebanese Communist Party on Wednesday comndemned the US decision to include Cuba in its list of 'state sponsors of terrorism', an action that it described as a cheap, aggressive and provocative step by Donald Trump before the end of his term.
Cuba trains international physicians, engineers and teachers for free and sends its health professionals to all parts of the world to treat wounds and relieve suffering, according to the statement.
It has sent medical brigades to other nations in order to fight the Covid-19 pandemic and did not attack or invade them. In any case, Cuba, located too close to the United States, faces, fights and stands alongside the poor and the vulnerable, an example of which can be seen in its support for the Palestinian people's just cause.
