US troops bomb Iraqi military posts to cover terrorists
Baghdad, Jan 20 (Prensa Latina) US military forces bombed the Iraqi Armed Forces' positions to favor the deployment of terrorists in central Babylon province, Al-Ghadeer channel reported on Wednesday.
Reports broadcast by the pan-Arab TV channel Al Mayadeen and Qatar's Al-Jazeera news channel stated that several explosions were heard in the city of Jurf al-Sajar, in Babylon.
Air strikes caused those detonations, as part of a US plan to destabilize the area and allow the deployment of the Islamic State, reported Al-Ghadir, based on an unidentified source.
As a result of the bombings by US F-16 planes, a dozen Iraqi soldiers were killed and many others were wounded, Al-Jazeera pointed out.
The United States resorts to such actions to justify its military presence in Iraq, where its Parliament and most of the population reject its stay, Al Mayadeen noted
