Beirut, Jan 26 (Prensa Latina) Lebanon reported on Tuesday 2,652 new Covid-19 cases, racking up more than 282,000 positives cases since February 2020.
According to Lebanon´s Ministry of Health, the Covid-19 pandemic claimed the lives of 54 people just in the last 24 hours, and its death toll amounted to 2,440.
The press release said that 2,413 Covid-19 patients were hospitalized, 930 in ICUs and 308 assisted by mechanical respiration.
The last few days were mortal for Lebanon, with 50 or more deaths despite a total lockdown that includes a 24-hour curfew.
