La Paz, Feb 9 (Prensa Latina) Bolivia has rejected the inclusion of Cuba on a list of states sponsor of terrorism, a measure taken by former US President Donald Trump.
As stated by Bolivia´s Foreign Ministry, 'The Government of the Plurinational State of Bolivia strongly rejects the measure taken by the outgoing US President Donald Trump, which included Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism.'
It statement added that 'Bolivia does not agree with any imposed unilateral measures and sanctions', considering them as 'interference in the sovereignty of the States and aggression against the unity and pacifist vocation of the peoples of the world.'
The statement also highlighted Cuba's efforts to promote multilateralism as the only avenue to deal with common regional challenges.
Trump´s measure also deserved the condemnation of several political and social forces in the South American country.
