Iran confirms arrival of oil tanker to Venezuela

It is the Forest tanker, which left six weeks ago from an Iranian port and is the third to come into port in Venezuela after Fortune and Faxon on May 24 and 25, 2020, respectively.
In both cases, the Venezuelan Navy escorted the vessel upon entering the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Bolivarian country. These oil tankers have challenged a US blockade, which deployed warships in the Caribbean Sea to prevent commercial transfer to Venezuela.
Iran warned that if its oil tankers were attacked in international waters, it would take same measures against the United States.
