Rome, Feb 22 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's Permanent Representative to the World Food Program (WFP) Jose Carlos Rodriguez warned on Monday that hunger in the world is increasing and the time to achieve its eradication by 2030 is shortening.
On speaking at the first regular session of the Executive Board of that UN agency headquartered in Rome, the ambassador noted that natural calamities, wars and economic blockades persist as aggravating causes of food shortages.
