Rabat, Apr 7 (Prensa Latina) Morocco and Cuba presented opportunities for trade and investment during the first official meeting about this issue between the two countries, diplomatic sources said on Wednesday.
The Chamber of Commerce of Cuba and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Casablanca-Settat held the virtual meeting in the presence of the presidents of both institutions, and the ambassadors of Rabat and Havana, among other participants.
The Regional Investment Center of Casablanca-Settat, the Regional Tourism Council in the mentioned city and the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency presented papers by Morocco.
The International Relations Directorate at the Chamber of Commerce, Cubanacan Business Group and the Frutas Selectas Company did so on Cuba's behalf.
The presidents of both chambers agreed to continue with this kind of meeting at the sectoral level and they expect to sign a Cooperation Agreement, which would be accompanied by an action plan to strengthen the institutional legal framework.
