Kim Jong Un underscores women's role in DPRK
Pyongyang, May 6 (Prensa Latina) The general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jong Un, on Thursday underscored women's role in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
Kim noted that women make up a major force of the Korean revolution and play a crucial role in guiding society with the noble culture and excellent ideological and moral style.
After attending a show by artistic groups made up of officers' wives from big units of the People's Army of Korea, the DPRK leader thanked them for boosting vitality to the Party's idea of granting importance to mass culture and art.
Kim noted that the entire country must learn the fervent patriotism, vitality, high ideological and spiritual world of the event's organizers.
The pieces that depicted the life of the officers' wives particularly moved the spectators, KCNA reported.
