Terrorist bombing in Syria leaves 15 civilians dead and injured
Damascus, Jul 20 (Prensa Latina) Terrorist rocket attacks against three towns in west-central Syrian province of Hama left 16 victims, among dead and injured, media informed.
The bombings were perpetrated by the extremists of the so-called Front for the Liberation of the Levant, formerly Al-Nusra Front, from their positions in northern Idlib province, and added that the rockets hit a funeral tent in Jouren town and homes in Naor Jourin and Barakeh towns, media stated.
The injured people were admitted to the Suqlbieh city hospital, and according to the medical staff of this center, most of them are seriously ill, included a baby.
Extremist organizations fighting under the Front for the Liberation of the Levant, inscribed in the international terrorism list, are deployed in Idlib and frequently bomb military positions and civilian communities, thus violating the ceasefire declared by Turkey and Russia in that province.
The Syrian army managed in its operations during 2020 to liberate 56 percent of Idlib, so radical groups currently control less than half, where they retain hundreds of thousands of civilians as human shields.
