La Paz, 2 sep (Prensa Latina) The coordinated work between Bolivian authorities and the people, as well as the international support, have today allowed the country to reduce the number of forest fires raging in the region of Chiquitania, in Santa Cruz Department (east). We have had a considerable reduction in the fire hotspots in the Chiquitania, from 662 to 383, the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces (FFAA), Williams Kaliman, told the press.
