‘I´m reiterating my call for every governor, mayor, and local leader to maintain and reinstate the mask mandate. Please, this is not politics. Reinstate the mandate if you let it down,¨ Biden said during remarks on the state of vaccinations Monday.

Some local media outlets such as The Hill reported that several places in the United States began ‘aggressively’ to eliminate the mandates for face coverings, while restrictions on businesses and public events have been recently lifted.

Although the vaccine availability is going up, slight increased Covid-19 positive cases are also reported, and this raises concern.

Biden has already pitched into separate states such as Texas and Mississippi that lifted the mandatory mandate for face coverings since the beginning of the month.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention asked citizens not to drop their guard against coronavirus and also said warned an ‘impending doom’ over concerns about another wave of Covid-19 cases.

In addition, Joe Biden announced that 90% of US adults will be eligible for coronavirus vaccine on April 19. But the Covid-19 cases are increasing once again and we must be alert, he reiterated.
