The thematic axes of the international event, slated to last until April 9th, focus on five virtual congresses on Geology, Geophysics, Mining, Oil and Gas and Informatics in Geosciences.

The interrelation between technology, knowledge and society will be addressed to place Geosciences as an instrument at the service of development will be debated during said congresses.

Other topics will deal with agribusiness, raw materials for the production of construction materials, and the application of technologies to create new products.

Likewise, there will be a debate on the exploration and rational exploitation of mineral and energy resources with respect to environmental regulations.

There will also be a discussion on the education of the population to face possible geological risks, the exploration of hydrocarbons, geodiversity, the use and conservation of water.

The convention has speakers and guests from Spain, Brazil, Canada, the United States, Uruguay, among others.
