In the case of Covid-19 immunization, Murillo said the first Covishield vaccine dose will continue to some 167,500 people from Tuesday to April 30. It is about two batches donated by India and the Covax international mechanism, which arrived in Nicaragua on March 7 (200,000 Covishield doses) and on March 16 (135,000 Covax doses).

The annual polio vaccination campaign will take place nationwide up to April 25, in order to immunize children five years and younger, and people over 50.
