Cuba regrets Prince Philip’s death

Havana, Apr 9 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Friday expressed his condolences for the death of Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II of England.

The Minister conveyed his condolences via Twitter to ‘Her Majesty Elizabeth II, His Highness Prince Charles, the royal family and the British people and Government for the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.’

According to sources the 99-year-old prince ‘died in peace’ at Windsor Castle, where the royal couple has taken refuge from the Covid-19 pandemic since last year.

Prince Philip was married to the 94-year-old Queen of England for more than seven decades, making him the longest-lived consort in British royal history.
