Cuba reports 854 Covid-19 cases and eight deaths

Havana, Apr 12 (Prensa Latina) The national director of Epidemiology at the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), Dr. Francisco Duran, on Monday reported 854 new Covid-19 cases and eight deaths over the last 24 hours.

At his daily press briefing on television, Dr. Duran explained that Cuban hospitals have admitted 4,962 active Covid-19 cases.

He added that the total death toll rose to 467 and the number of contagions increased to 87,385 cases, since March 2020.
