Such brutal war and economic terrorism are subversive and malicious projects whose goal is to consolidate the US military occupation, subjugate the peoples of the region and guarantee Israel’s hegemony, the Foreign Ministry indicated in a communiqué.

The press release assures that Damascus was imposed this project after 10 years of war in which the United States employed all its tools and spent billions of dollars to subdue Syria’s sovereign decision.

That failure prompted Washington to resort to direct intervention through supporting terrorist and separatist militias, bombing infrastructure and plundering the Syrian people’s oil and wheat, the text refers.

Such practices do not comply with international law and deserve the condemnation of the international community, Syrian Ministry’s authorities assure.
