The message from the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that Attorney General Merrick Garland and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Ray are also not allowed to travel to Russia.

The list includes six other US citizens who cannot enter the Russian Federation, ‘in response to the sanctions imposed on March 2 by the US administration against Russian officials,’ the statement referred.

The document warned of the closure of the entry into the country of senior managers and former officials of the US linked to the implementation of Washington’s policy against Russia.

The list also includes Federal Bureau of Prisons Director Michael Carvajal; Homeland Security Minister Alejandro Mallorcas; Presidential Advisor for Domestic Policy Susan Rice; and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haynes.

Earlier, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the country will respond to Washington’s expulsion of 10 Russian diplomats with a reciprocal measure.

‘We will respond to this measure in a mirror. We will also offer 10 US diplomats in Russia to leave our country,’ he added, according to TASS news agency.
