Russian Communist Party greets Congress of Cuba’s Communist Party

Moscow, Apr 16 (Prensa Latina) The Communist Party of Russia (PCR) sent a greeting to the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba, which began today when the country is about to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the triumph of Playa Giron.

This victory against the forces financed and trained by the United States marked the course of the future development of Cuba and the entire Caribbean, in addition to becoming an example of dedication and courage in the fight for freedom and a socialist future, highlights the message of the RCP.

It adds that the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) has demonstrated its role as a militant vanguard in the face of the difficult conditions of the economic blockade and the unjustified sanctions imposed on the country by the US government.

He also highlights his leadership in the national strategy to fight against Covid-19 and sharing disinterested medical assistance with countries in need.

The letter recalls the figure of Commander Fidel Castro as a guide for the Cuban communists, counting on his precepts in the organization’s guidelines on its path of socialist orientation.

The greeting, signed by the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Guennadi Zyuganov, reiterates the friendship between the two organizations for decades and the willingness to work together’ for a socialist future.
