Vietnam’s congratulations were sent by the general secretary of the Communist Party, Nguyen Phu Trong, also on behalf of the Vietnamese State and people.

Phu Trong said with great joy that he congratulated the Cuban communists for the successful Congress, which he described as transcendental for the continuity of the Revolution and Fidel and Raul Castro’s thought and work.

I am fully convinced that under the leadership of the glorious PCC, the brotherly Cuban people will overcome all difficulties and successfully implement the guidelines of the Congress, will win greater victories in the cause of building and defending the Homeland and for the goal of building a prosperous and sustainable socialism, he said.

I reaffirm the desire and determination of the Party, the State and the Vietnamese people to further strengthen and deepen the relationship of special friendship, comprehensive cooperation and faithful solidarity between the two Parties, States and peoples, the top leader of the Vietnamese communists stressed.
