Yin Weidong, CEO of Sinovac Biotech, confirmed that his company intends to transfer CoronaVac manufacturing methods to 10 countries.

Similarly, the president of CanSinoBIO, Yu Xuefeng, commented on a similar project between his corporation, Mexico and Pakistan to produce more doses of their vaccine and send them to other countries in South America and Central Asia.

To date, these and other Chinese pharmaceutical companies have exported millions of doses in bulk, and the recipient countries have taken care of packaging and distributing them.

The new initiative also includes the construction of filling and packaging lines.

China has 17 vaccines in various stages of testing and has inoculated 200 million domestic and foreign citizens with the four most advanced since last July.

China also signed agreements with several countries in the world to export the drugs and requested the World Health Organization to incorporate those from Sinovac, Sinopharm and CanSinoBio to the Covax program.
