¨No working US worker should lose a single dollar from their paycheck because they chose to fulfill their patriotic duty of getting vaccinated.¨

¨I´m calling on every employer, large and small, in every state to give employees the time off they need –with pay- to get vaccinated and any time they need –with pay- to recover if they´re feeling under the weather after the shot,¨ Biden said during remarks at the White House.

Biden, on the other hand, stressed that the United States on Wednesday will supply 200 million vaccine doses.

Initially, President Biden set a goal of 100 million vaccine doses in the first 100 days of his administration and then doubled the figure for the same period.

All people over the age of 16 are now eligible to receive a vaccine, Biden stressed, noting that 90% of US citizens live within five miles of somewhere where they can receive a shot.
