The Dominican Cuba Solidarity Campaign and the Maximo Gomez Association of Cuban residents convened a long vehicle tour along the boardwalk in Santo Domingo.

In the same way, a call was made for Barahona province to stage a rally in the central park of the city to tour the streets in support of Cuba.

In Santiago de los Caballeros, Pedro Pablo Zapata, leader of the Cuba Solidarity Committee, announced that he will join the activity, taking the emblematic Duarte Park, in central Santo Domingo, as a starting point.

The initiative responds to the call launched by Cuban-American Professor Carlos Lazo, a promoter of the Bridges of Love project, to develop a worldwide caravan to demand the lifting of the unilateral sanctions imposed by Washington, which affect the Cuban family.
