Colombian cyclist Henao will try to climb in Volta ao Algarve

Albufeira, Portugal, May 9 (Prensa Latina) The Colombian cyclist Sebastian Henao will try to rise from the eighth position in the Portuguese Volta ao Algarve, in today's dispute of the fifth and last stage, with the British Athan Hayter as leader.

Henao, from the British team Ineos Grenadiers, will attempt to close the gap that separates him from his predecessors and climb in the general list of positions, dominated by his teammate Hayter, who has a time of 14:53:34 hours, during the 170-kilometer stretch between the towns of Albufeira and Malhao.

The local Joao Rodrigues is 12 seconds behind the man in front, and the Danish Kasper Asgreen is 21 seconds behind, while Henao is 1:18 minutes behind.

The Danish Asgreen won a 20.3-kilometer time trial with start and finish in Lagoa yesterday, with a time of 23:52, ahead of the Portuguese Rafael Reis and the French Benjamin Thomas, three and nine seconds behind him, respectively.
