Judge Kenya Romero ordered 18 months of preventive detention for the former security chief of former President Danilo Medina, Major General Adan Caceres Silvestre, Colonel Rafael Nuñez, Sergeant Alejandro Montero, the evangelical pastor Rossy Guzman and her son Tanner Flete.

She also imposed house arrest for the same period on Major Alejandro Giron Jimenez, who revealed in court the way in which the group allegedly developed its criminal activities in the Specialized Tourist Security Corps and the Presidential Security Corps.

Operation Coral, which took place two weeks ago, is getting more complicated every day and it points to be a case that, due to its ramifications and proximity to the high spheres of power, will have great repercussions in the country and will surely attract new actors.
