On speaking to the media in the capital, Putin also called for citizens to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

‘As in my previous speeches, I would like to urge people to get vaccinated without wasting time,’ the head of State said.

He revealed that before sharing information with the press, he talked with Anna Popova, head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) of Russia, about the situation with the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

On his and her behalf, he invited all Russians to continue to comply with the vaccination campaign and not to wait for the development of the disease, but to go to the doctor at the first symptoms.

Putin recalled the heads of the country’s regions of the need to comply with the established rates of diagnostic tests for the presence of coronavirus and the progress of vaccination.
