‘For Cuba and the Cuban family against the blockade’ will be the main topic of the meeting, announced by the National Coordinating Committee of Cuban Residents in Italy (CONACI) in a call addressed to Cuban nationals ‘who love, respect and defend their homeland, culture and historical values.’

CONACI highlighted the significance of the meeting as an opportunity for constructive, direct and respectful exchange of ideas among Cubans, with the aim of reaffirming the many expressions of Cubanness, patriotism and the defense of national sovereignty, and unconditional support for the homeland and the Cuban family in times of pandemic.

The meeting’s agenda includes the progress in updating Cuba’s economic and social model, promoting investment opportunities, interaction by Cuban artists living abroad with institutions in their country, and the conflict between Cuba and the United States, among other issues.
