In a conversation with Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS)’s Political Bureau, Zarif confirmed that he reached an agreement with his Turkish counterparts to condemn the Tel Aviv regime at the highest world body.

Haniyeh explained to the Iranian diplomat the most recent events occurred in the occupied territories and the Zionists’ attacks against defenseless citizens.

The foreign minister reiterated the Islamic Republic’s solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and condemned the repression by the occupying and barbarous Tel Aviv regime against those who fulfill the Islamic holy month of Ramadan with fasting.

Zarif specifically referred to the attack by Israeli settlers and military forces at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem and the martyrdom and injuries defenseless Muslims suffered in that action.
