Jordan’s king demands to stop Israeli hostility against Palestine

Amman, May 17 (Prensa Latina) King Abdullah II of Jordan on Monday demanded the holding of international consultations to stop the hostile actions by Israel against Palestine, Alnashrah website informed.

‘We hope to achieve our goal and establish a ceasefire in the Palestinian lands and territories,’ the monarch said.

Amman maintains contacts with international organizations aimed at ending the ongoing conflict between Palestinians and Israelis, the news source stated.

Earlier, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi confirmed Cairo’s efforts to achieve a ceasefire between the Zionist army and the Palestinians.

According to El-Sisi, the current situation in the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem obliges to be urgent to restore calm and put an end to violence and all conflicts.
