Jordan urges to stop Israeli violations in Jerusalem

Amman, May 28 (Prensa Latina) King  of Jordan called to redouble efforts in the international community to stop Israeli violations against Islamic holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, a communique from the royal court highlighted on Friday.

During a meeting between the Hashemite king and Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, both monarchs addressed the Palestinian cause and the Israeli escalation into sacred places for Islam.

Abdullah II and Bin Zayed emphasized in the need to maintain the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and intensify efforts to resume talks in the peace process between Palestinians and Israelis.

The Jordanian sovereign urged that Arab and international efforts continue to stop Israel’s repeated provocations and violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Haram al-Sharif, in Jerusalem.

To those Zionist actions of repression and abuse against Arabs in the holy city for Christians, Jews and Muslims, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance responded with attacks against Israeli strategic interests.
