To the greetings from this southern land, there were also intellectual and journalist Atilio Borón, congresswoman Ayelén Sposito, members of Solidarity to Cuba Movement in Argentina and outstanding names in journalism like Carlos Aznares and Víctor Ego Ducrot.

After sending his greetings to Prensa Latina, politologist Atilio Borón labeled this means as a great journalism institution in Latin America and remembered those who were its most important promoters, the historic leader of Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and Cuban- Argentinian guerrilla fighter Ernesto Che Guevara.

Around the news Agency, you could find extraordinary journalists and writers like its first director, Argentinian Jorge Ricardo Masetti, Rodolfo Walsh, Colombian Gabriel García Márquez, Uruguayan Carlos María Gutiérrez and so many others, he remembered.

After pointing out its extraordinary hallmark, Borón underlined that 62 years

after its foundation to be celebrated tomorrow, its journalists have remained loyal to the tradition inherited from its promoters, in doing so, to inform the peoples of Our America.

To messages of congratulations on PrensaLatina´s anniversary, There were too those from Congresswoman Ayelén Sposito, a graduate from Cuba´s Latin American Medicine School, who thanked this agency for always being present, ¨Till victory forever and let´s keep hoping for a united Latin America¨, she said.

Many voices from Argentinian journalism sent their hugs to workers from this means, among them Director of Latin American Summary, Carlos Aznáres, who reminded that Prensa latina is a necessary tool in these times when lie and misinformation are everyday reality. We are disciples of that necessary agency, he stated.

As for journalist and university professor Víctor Ego Ducrot, who was part of staff in Prensa Latina for a number of years and one of its most regular collaborators, called the agency ¨the old and dear teacher of Latin American journalism¨.

Meanwhile, the also reporter Alberto Mas, Cuba´s Friends Argentinian Journalists Club´s vice president, reminded that this news means came to be to countercheck all lies from hegemonic and monopole press against Cuba and progressive movements in the continent.

Today, he said, it is a support and a reference to objective communication, but never impartial, like Masetti once said, you can never be impartial between Good and Evil.
