Bicycle convoy in Cuba demands end to US blockade (+Photos)

Holguin, Jun 20 (Prensa Latina) Cyclists, mostly young people, ran along major streets in this eastern province to demand an end to the United States blockade against Cuba.

Carrying signs and flags, the participants toured different places in the city and supported, with their actions, the international movement that is condemning the US blockade this weekend, as part of the fourth World Convoy against that inhumane measure.

Apart from the condemnation of the coercive measures taken by the United States for nearly six decades, this initiative reaffirmed the support for the Cuban Revolution, national television reported.

Participants in Holguin held their protest in full observance of the dispositions in place to prevent contagions with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes Covid-19. Social networks were also filled with claims for an end to such policy.
