More activities reopen in Uruguay without decreasing infections by Covid-19

Montevideo, June 21 (Prensa Latina) Uruguay´s government ordered today the reopening of museums and artistic teaching schools despite persistent scientific and medical advise to reduce mobility due to the wave of infections by Covid -19.

From the limited preventive measures still in effect there are now a few and until next June 27, with no longer the Honorary Scientific Consultant Group (HSCG) advising the Presidency.

Besides, fourth to sixth grade schoolchildren will return to on-site classrooms to complete all those from the primary school in the country, and take a winter brake the next week.

Teaching Union members hold their criticism to the lack of the necessary health security previsions to take that step involving 75 thousand students plus family members coming to the schools.
