The missile, which has nuclear capacity, is part of a series of such weapons developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and using state-of-the-art technology, Asian News International agency pointed out.

Several telemetry stations and radars along India’s east coast tracked and supervised the missile, which accomplished all the goals of the mission with high-level precision, the DRDO said in a report.
