Mexico has already administered 43.9 million anti-Covid-19 doses

Mexico, Jun 29 (Prensa Latina) Mexico has already provided 43.9 million doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines since the beginning of the national plan last December, the Ministry of Health reported today in the morning update of its daily report.

Yesterday they applied 157,994 biologicals, but from this Tuesday onwards it will increase again to around half a million per day.

Mexico has 127 million inhabitants, but only 118 million will receive the dose, because so far only people over 18 years of age are authorized to be vaccinated, although there are plans to lower it to 12 years of age.

Regarding the behavior of the pandemic, the report indicates that through the week of June 13-19 the trend continues to rise, with 12 percent more than the previous week (June 6-12).

The number of people who started with symptoms of the infection during the previous 14 days also continues to rise and today there are 32,520 individuals in this condition.

The report points out that between last Sunday and Monday, 1,661 cases of Covid-19 and 44 deaths were confirmed, bringing the national registry to 2,507,453 people who have been infected and 232,608 deaths as a resut of it.
