Germans consider Covid-19 vaccination as insufficient

Berlin, Jul 5 (Prensa Latina) 76% of Germans who were involved in a survey considered that the toll of Covid-19 infections will increase after summer in Europe despite the ongoing vaccination campaign.

Similarly, 3 in 4 (74%) who responded to the YouGov Demoscopic Institute poll, commissioned by Dpa news agency, were convinced of measures to fight Covid-19 will be tightened in the fall.

Meanwhile, 16 in 100 people considered there will be no more restrictions and 10% declined to comment on this issue.

With lowest figures since the beginning of the pandemic, Germany´s incidence rate rose this week ranging from 4.9 to 5.7 per 100,000 inhabitants, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), is a German federal government agency and research institute responsible for disease control and prevention.

World Health Organization (WHO) showed that Covid-19 infection is currently growing anew in nearly all of Europe.
