Pan-Arab TV channel Al-Mayadeen reproduced statements by Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Lebanon to the UN Salim Baddoura, who refuted Israeli accusations aimed at describing the Islamic Resistance as terrorist.

Israel, the occupying power of Palestine, he added, does not respect the technical nature of the meeting nor the rights of those it oppresses, on whom it commits crimes known globally.

The diplomat repudiated sermons and suggestions from a force with a history of occupying regions of the Lebanese territory, violating national sovereignty and killing civilians.

The Resistance, he added, is playing a key role in containing Tel Aviv regime’s territorial aspirations and its ongoing attacks.
