Messi-led Argentina beats Brazil to win Copa America

Brasilia, Jul 11 (Prensa Latina) Brazilian press on Sunday highlighted Aregentina´s 1-0 victory over Brazil to win the Copa América and break once and for all the 28-year spell without winning a title.

Most of local nedia praised that Argentine team agonizingly won its 15th South American tournament, but also pondered that a perfect move and play by PSG´s start Ángel Di María sublime chip over Brazils Ederson gave not only the victory to Argentina, but also the first victory for Leo Messi at the legendary Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

The UOL news portal assured that even the Brazil-Argentina rivalry faltered when everything is just around Messi, which it described as Messimania.

According to the website, in spite of Covid-19 restrictions, there were lots of fans who did their best to get Messi´s attention.

Notwithstanding, old friends Messi and Brazilian Neymar embraced each other at the end.
