The parliamentary leader’s statements to the local television station Canal Cuatro added the way of exercising power ‘depends on the people, it is on the shoulders and the will of the Nicaraguan people and we are demonstrating it.’

Porras assured that this year the largest country in Central America will end with an economic growth of close to four percent of the Gross Domestic Product.

The president of the legislative branch insisted that in his country there are possibilities for everyone and highlighted the guarantee of the rights to health, education and work, as well as the program for the construction of new schools and hospitals.

On another plane of Nicaraguan reality, he pointed out how as of July 19, 1979, Nicaragua begins to commemorate the indigenous resistance against Spanish colonialism and the fight against the US filibusters.
